EDO MANCINI MUSEUM
A private collection of about 2,500 war objects that Edo has collected over more than twenty years.
Edo Mancini is a well-known and loved character in Gemmano, narrator of his experience as a teenager who lived through the war and the strong attack on the town, driven by a passion for researching and collecting objects and information on the war that inextricably marked his life. Thanks to his perseverance today it is possible to view his extraordinary collection in a garage a few steps from his home in Gemmano, he is also often invited to events or conferences that are often organized to bear witness to and pass on his history and his knowledge .
Edo Mancini
Edo Mancini, born in 1937, has always lived in his Gemmano. In 1944 he was a child fleeing bombing with his family. Despair also came after the end of the war, when some of the village boys, his friends and peers, died playing with some unexploded bombs.
